ABS Machining is always looking for skilled workers to compliment its current work force. The following is a list of some of the key positions available. Machinist - must be capable of performing own set-ups and work on complex parts with minimum supervision on CNC or conventional machine tools. Welder/ Fitter - must be experienced with GMAW, SAW or FCAW. Must be able to read blueprints. Assembly Fitters - must be able to perform assembly functions unsupervised in the assembly of machine components. Experience in hydraulics and pneumatics is an asset. Programmer - must be capable of writing CNC programs for an assortment of CNC machine tools. Good knowledge of machine practices and tooling is necessary. Must have good knowledge of a CAD software program. Other positions available: Supervisor - for both production and project supervision. Estimator - must be familiar with all production related processes. General administrator and office staff positions may also be available.
