SAFETY POLICY: A.B.S. Machining Inc. is committed to the protection from accidental loss to its employees and property.
In fulfilling this commitment, we provide and maintain a safe and healthy work environment as indicated by acceptable industry practices and compliance with legislative requirements. We will strive to eliminate any foreseeable hazards, which may result in fires, security losses, and damage to personnel and property.
Accidental loss can be controlled through good management in combination with active employee involvement. Loss prevention is the direct responsibility of both management and employees alike.
All management functions will comply with A.B.S. Machining Inc.’s company loss prevention requirements as they apply to the design, operation and maintenance of facilities and equipment.
All employees will perform their jobs properly and safely in accordance with established procedures/operating philosophy and will report all unsafe and unhealthy conditions.
All contractors, sub-contractors and their employees will be responsible for meeting or exceeding A.B.S. Machining Inc.'s safety standards.
The regular review of safety matters in the committee meetings, job review meetings, management meetings and through individual employee contact and ongoing safety training will enable us to achieve our goal of improving our safety record.
